Laetitia Rouget
Paris-born, Lisbon-based artist Laetitia Rouget says working with ceramics is a way to connect her own creativity with her family's heritage in the porcelain business. After studying at Central Saint Martins School, Laetitia's career began as a fashion designer and her work soon evolved into playing with different mediums such as print, textile, paint and ceramic. Her work is designed to provoke conversation, laughter and joy. The whimsical tableware celebrates everything from nature to the human body and often features playful phrases. Each piece is handmade "with love and naughtiness" in Portugal.
